Terms and Conditions
Provision of 24 hour care
As a Limited Service Provider, Laura does not carry medications or prescribe them, and as such cannot provide a full veterinary service and does not provide emergency care. She will work closely with your usual vet, and they should be your first point of contact including for out-of-hours care. Laura is however contactable for advice at any time if you are concerned that your pet is having a reaction to the acupuncture.
Cancellations
Cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. If more than 24 hours notice is given, no cancellation fee will be incurred. If cancelled within 24 hours, the cancellation fee is the cost of the consultation fee that would have been incurred.
Complaints
Laura takes pride in offering the highest quality of service, but should you be dissatisfied, please contact her directly as soon as possible to raise a complaint and she will do her best to resolve the matter. If it cannot be resolved, independent mediation will be sought before resorting to arbitration or litigation.
Privacy and Data
When you register with or request services from LM Veterinary Acupuncture, we will collect personal data about you. We will only collect data that we need to perform the services provided, take payment or contact you, such as names and contact details. Please note that we may pass your details to debt collection agencies or our legal advisers for the purposes of recovering unpaid fees if payment is not made when invoices are due.
Client and clinical records and similar documents (including but not limited to digital imaging results), are and remain the property of your veterinary practice. You will be sent a copy of your pet’s report after each consultation and your pet’s record will be sent to your usual vet and any other members of the veterinary care team you request.
